He said there are six traditional areas in the district and therefore the selection of Volo as one of the areas to benefit from a police station should be that of pride and a great privilege.
The DCE thanked the Chiefs for making land available for the project. He implored the contractor to finish the project on time.
Mr. Ebenezer Adegah, the District Engineer said the project is aimed at reducing crime and will serve Volo and its environs. He also pleaded with the Chiefs to desists from land litigations ones the project kick starts.
The Representative of the Contractor for the project was hopeful of employing indigenes in executing the work. He also thanked the District Assembly especially the Honorable DCE for having confidence in his firm and promised to do a good job.
Crime rates in the district hasn’t changed much, and therefore a Police Station at Volo will go a long way in reducing the rate.
